Seated Acupressure Massage

Seated acupressure chair

The seated massage routine is performed with the client fully clothed and seated in a special chair, designed for optimum relaxation and comfort. The techniques are based on Japanese acupressure and work along energy lines within the body, helping key muscle groups to relax. Finger and palm pressure is used on areas of the back, neck, scalp, arms and hands to promote relaxation and allow energy to flow freely through the body. As a result, the client will feel revitalised, more supple, focused, clear headed and less stressed.

Designed for today's fast paced lifestyles, this massage can be performed anywhere, at pretty much any time - your workplace, an event or conference, a hen weekend, a mummy get together - the possibilities are endless!

For larger events or offices The Massage Practice can provide several therapists.

Seated massage can be particularly effective in an office environment due to its stress-relieving qualities. It can be the perfect perk for your employees to boost morale, increase productivity and even cut down on sick days taken through symptoms of stress and musculoskeletal problems, which can occur through bad posture or poor ergonomic design of furniture.
