Home visits - cost depends on distance travelled but is generally £75 for a one hour treatment.

In person appointments
The first, initial appointment will usually be an hour (it may be shorter for smaller scars). This will include a thorough consultation, as well as treatment. At the end of the treatment we will discuss your scar and explain how further treatments are likely able to help. Self massage techniques you can practice at home can also be shown. 

Multiple treatments are recommended to gain the most benefit, although great results can be achieved after just one treatment. 
In general, I  suggest a course of 3 treatments, spread over a few weeks. The time between treatments will depend on the age and size of your scar. Do have a read through the ScarWork page for more info.

Online appointments
During a virtual consultation, we’ll discuss topical treatment options and assess the scar and surrounding tissue with your touch and my guidance. I’ll then coach you through a range of very gentle techniques that you can perform at home to help you address any discomfort, numbness or tightness in your scar and surrounding tissue.

Gift Vouchers

Vouchers are available for all treatments. These can be emailed or posted and can be paid for by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy

I try to be as flexible as I can in rescheduling appointments, should the need arise. Any appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to full payment, since I won’t be able to fill the slot with anyone else at such short notice.

Covid Information

Covid restrictions in the UK have now been lifted. Having learnt a fair bit about how viruses spread over the last 2 years and wanting to keep myself and my clients safe (many of whom are vulnerable), a few safety measures will remain in place at The Massage Practice.

  • I will continue to take regular lateral flow tests and postpone any treatments should I test positive.

  • I would ask that you still inform me of any Covid symptoms (cough, cold, loss of smell or taste, fever) or if someone in your household is ill. It won’t necessarily always mean re-scheduling the appointment, but extra safety measures can be put in place.

  • If you’d like me to wear a mask while I treat you, I’m happy to. Just let me know.
